Lamia Company for food manufacture was established in 1960 in old Aleppo city at Khan - Alhrir area , Aleppo city is northwest Syria , distance 360 km from capital Damascus , and 186 km from Lattakia port
Aleppo is considered older populated city in World, and it is a center of older important trade roads , the road of Khan-Alhrir is one from this ways .

Lamia company began its working in the Petit Four , at that time the work depended completely on skill of the worker and their suavity which is taken from the in inveterate suavity of Aleppo city .


And after that Lamia company goes to development so takes to magnify from skill of worker , and develops gradually to change the work from manual to middle mechanical at year 1975 , and new types were insert from filled biscuit , the developments continue , then at 1990 Lamia company was conveyed to wide building from two floor in Mansorah area which is located at 15 km to the west of Aleppo city on Samaan citadel s road , the greater care in the new builing was to have the suitable specifications for food manufacture from where goodness and the farness from any pollution source .

Lamia company did not stop in this limit but take to raising its prospect to grow the kinds and vary to include addition to Petit Four and filled Biscuit the covered Wafer with chocolate was done at its, production line to the three producers in different types
Was changed to complete automated production line by use better machines were imported from many world companies.

At 2004 Lamia Company cooperated with Syrian European business centre to intervene in index exporters, and to obtain worthiness safe goodness food evidence
/ HACCP /, where established special laboratory to analysis their producers besides to examination all the primitive matters and making sure of their agreement with standard specifications.

Lamia Company have today important part of Syrian market , and have a considerable share of exports to countries ( Saudi Arabia , United Arab Emirates , Iraq ,Jordan , ……ect .) , rate of the exportation about 60 % from the production , and we seek to dilation the exportation circle to contain another Arabic and foreign countries by order of God .
